Off-piste winter fun

Tobogganing

Toboggan down into the valley – there are several runs on which you can enjoy this winter recreation and you can always hire a sledge if you don’t have one.

Winter hiking

Guided tours are available for groups of at least four persons in the period early January to March. Walks last about 3 hours. Sunworshippers without ski equipment can purchase the “Sonnenkarte”.

Snowshoe walks

Guided snowshoe walks are available from December to Easter. You will need to bring a pair of heavy hiking or mountain boots. Costs € 15.00 per person, including hire of snowshoes, sticks and headlamp.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides

Ride in a horse-drawn sleigh, wrapped in warm blankets, through a magical winter world and woods deep in snow.

Skating and curling

A winter sport for young and old: there is a rink on the other side of the Zwölferkogel lift station in Hinterglemm, on the left as you go down the valley.

Tennis

You may use the indoor courts of the Hinterglemm Tennis School at any time free of charge.

Archery

The fascination of archery is the way it relaxes both body and mind. In the fresh forest air, you rapidly forget everyday stress and worries. You too will be able to go out “on the hunt” after a short introductory course.

Paragliding

Experience the dream of flying and see the wonderful mountain scenery from the perspective of an eagle.

Snowmobiles

There is a prepared skidoo track in Jausern in Saalbach

Ice karting

Maximum kart fun on ice. Controlled drifts can be performed with the 9-horsepower karts with spiked wheels.
